Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
We will meet early in the morning to leave Marrakech and start our way to Ouarzazate.
During the journey, approximately four hours, we will contemplate the spectacular landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with more than 2000 meters of altitude. We will enjoy the spectacular views offered by the valleys of the area and visit Berber villages dedicated to the sale of semiprecious stones. As we move south, the mountainous landscape transforms into a semi-desert. In this area, we will discover the typical adobe houses built with mud and straw.
The most important visit of this excursion is the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and one of the best preserved fortified cities in the country. Its unique architecture and setting have made it the ideal choice for the filming of many series and movie productions such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Prince of Persia, The Mummy and Game of Thrones.
After this break, we will resume our journey to Ouarzazate, where we will discover the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous Atlas Film Studios where many scenes of the above mentioned movies have been filmed.
At the end of the visit, we will start our way back to Marrakech, where we will arrive at the end of the afternoon to accompany you back to your accommodation.

A beautiful excursion, something to experience if u want to escape the busy soukhs of Marrakech. The roads of the Kasbahs lead you through the filmset and scenery where Game of Thrones and Gladiator was filmed. The tour guide was helpful in providing information about the village, the Berbers, the Nomads and their lives. If you like a roadtrip and the many different mountainous views you will appreciate this journey. We were very lucky to be helped by the tour manager because we had some problems online when filling the dates. He corrected our date and we were thankfully able to go on the tour. Needless to say, this tour can’t be missed as it feels like you get to time travel and you are in good hands the whole way through.

Really decent price, wonderfull experience, chill people. I would 100% recommend. Was the best part of my trip. Defintiely worth it.
We had a private driver (Aissam), who was very friendly and attentively. At the sights we took a guide, who gave interesting information. The tour was perfectly organized and Driss (Tour Agent) very helpful and nice. We’d book again with him.
